After putting together 3 new sites last month I took a new route to lesson the design time on the 3rd one. I found the time I saved, which increased my revenue, was well worth it. I was very surprised at the quality of the website templates available on the net today. I went with a Premium Website Template. Just a few clicks and I had a professionally created Photoshop file in my hand. My new template came completely sliced and every layer was clearly labeled. The Photoshop layers were laid out nicely and were even colored to help quickly distinguish different sections of the template. So, what I did was changed a few elements of the design to make it different. I do like the idea of making it your own. Bottom line is, I will first consider a website template on upcoming jobs and if I find something that fits the job, I will use it.
